SPROUTED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES + PAIRS BEST WITH RAW MILK

When I saw our fan-shared recipe, sprouted chocolate chip cookies, I knew I had to make a blog about it. Many of you are healthy foodies, and, like us, you care deeply about the ingredients that are in your food, and in your body. Sprouted grains may be easier to digest. These cookies caught my attention! We are all for having a flourishing, healthy gut.

Let’s look more deeply at the ingredients:

2 cups sprouted whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks raw butter, melted 3/4 way (not hot) @raw_farm_usa
3/4 cup cane sugar
1/3 cup maple sugar (or brown sugar)
1/3 cup coconut sugar (or more brown sugar)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 egg
1.5 cups chocolate chips

How-to:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl mix together flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.

  3. In a mixing bowl beat together the butter, sugars, vanilla extract and the vinegar until smooth. Add egg and beat until combined.

  4. Add flour mixture little by little into the wet mixture just until combined.

  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  6. Using a large cookie scoop drop about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. (I wanted large cookies)

  7. Bake for approx 15 min. Make sure they have a gold brown color around the edges to get that crisp.

  8. Cool slightly. Enjoy, with a glass of Whole Raw Milk ❤️ 🍪
