WHAT IS RAW JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR CHEESE?

Our Raw Cheddar has aged a minimum of 60 days and is truly traditional artisan raw cheddar. Made with Whole Raw Milk from cows that seasonally grass-graze, each block is packed with bioavailable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, beneficial bacteria, naturally occurring CLA and Omega-3 fatty acids. The ease of digestibility of Raw Milk Cheddar gives those that experience discomfort with processed cheese products, a delicious and natural option. No coloring ever added.

We believe in keeping our products TRULY raw, which involves never heating above 102° F. Many other so-called “raw” cheese is actually heated to temperatures just under the legal pasteurized temperature of 161° F, which denatures proteins, enzymes, and kills beneficial bacteria that aids in the digestion of dairy.

RAW FARM Cheddar’s yellow color comes naturally from year around grass-grazing. Its color will vary with the season; springtime brings the brightest color. Absolutely NO antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or GMO anything.

HEALTHY INGREDIENTS

At RAW FARM, we believe in using the healthiest, highest-quality ingredients in our products. Below a breakdown of the ingredients for our Raw Jalapeño Cheddar:

INGREDIENTS: Whole raw milk, vegetable rennet, cultures, kosher sea salt, 100% organic chili powder jalapeño, air-dried green jalapeño peppers

WHOLE RAW MILK: The base of Raw Jalapeño Cheddar is fresh Whole Raw Milk from our very own seasonally grass-grazed cows.

VEGETABLE RENNET: We use what is considered a vegetable rennet that is approved by Kosher. In actuality, it is a microbial rennet. Our label says vegetable because according to label laws, you are either animal or vegetable. There is confusion with the term microbial. You could describe it as a specialized vegetarian cheese culture.

CULTURES: Our cultures are a special blend of lactic acid cultures

KOSHER SEA SALT: We use an All Natural, Chemical- Free, Kosher Certified, Pure Ocean Premium Sea Salt. The salt is solar evaporated then cleaned using optical technology instead of chemicals. Optical Technology captures and examines every grain of salt using high-definition cameras to detect and remove particles that isn’t salt. Pretty cool! This results in pure, clean, mineral-rich salt.

100% ORGANIC CHILI POWDER JALAPEÑO, AIR-DRIED GREEN JALAPEÑO PEPPERS: We use a blend of dried Jalapeño powder and dried Jalapeño flakes for optimal texture and flavor.

MADE FROM THE MILK OF SEASONALLY GRASS-GRAZED COWS

RAW FARM Whole Raw Milk products come from healthy cows who graze on luscious, green pasture seasonally. Pasture is their primary source of nutrition. Everything we do for our cows is intentional. From the grasses we grow to provide optimal nutrients year-round, the extra feed they enjoy ensuring they have a well-balanced diet, and most importantly, a loving, stress-free environment where they can focus on being happy cows to provide the best raw dairy products for our amazing customers!
