One of the most frequently pondered questions upon our customers is, “How many farms are behind RAW FARM?” Believe it or not, it’s just us! We are a 5th generation family-owned dairy farm located in the heart of Central California. When we started, we knew what milk was, but we didn’t know what raw milk was. All we knew is that we wanted to be the most pasture-based dairy that we could be. Today, our raw milk is a best-seller in California, and we’ve expanded our only nationally-allowed product line, Truly Raw Cheddar Cheese, to all 50 states!
Our raw dairy products are simply that-It’s milk that is unprocessed, whole, and living, with all of its beneficial bacteria. We meticulously craft our artisan products so that you and your family can enjoy each savory, nutrient dense, and rich flavor.
On our social media pages, we share photos and videos of our products, our happy customers, and the lives of our cows. Yet we feel as though we haven’t given you enough insight about who we, the faces behind RAW FARM truly are. In this article, we’re going to introduce you to our family.
The McAfee family started the dairy in 1998 with the dream to offer fresh, healthy, nutritent dense raw dairy products to our CA community. Today, we are proud to remain 100% family owned and work side by side throughout our busy work week to produce and promote this exciting raw brand across the USA!
Mark McAfee |CEO, Founder
Mark McAfee is the founding visionary behind RAW FARM and can be referred to as “ The Chief Excitement Officer”.
Mark’s focus is to help other raw milk dairies across the country and internationally through his new passion, which serves to build a healthier world where raw milk is safe, embraced, and easily accessible.
He has pioneered raw milk food safety standards and legal battles to keep the ball moving forward for the benefit of all: raw milk dairies across the world and consumers who long for easy access to clean, healthy raw milk products.
Aaron mcafee |president
Aaron McAfee oversees all departments as the President.
Aaron is hands-on with our dairy herd. He helps farm the certified organic crops and runs operations. Aaron’s most important responsibility is food safety, and he personally oversees our food safety plan from start to finish. Aaron manages many different daily duties, but keeping the team united and excited is his favorite role!
Kaleigh Lutz | Vice president, marketing
Kaleigh Lutz oversees all Marketing and Branding. She is daughter of Mark and Blaine McAfee.
She does all things Marketing that involves branding, advertising and promotions, product development, customer outreach, social media, website design, PR, and overall strategies for demand growth. She also manages communications with customers as our family direct customer service representative.
If it has color, then she’s probably doing it!
Josh Lutz | Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Josh Lutz wears many hats, but mainly oversees all sales, distribution and logistics, and store relationships. He is married to Kaleigh Lutz.
As the head of sales and business development, Josh handles store relationships, creating sales growth opportunities, and works directly in daily route and creamery production schedules.
If you see a product on the shelf, Josh was helpful to assure it’s arrival and supply.
