In simple terms, raw milk is the unpasteurized and unprocessed form of milk. All of the complete balance of nutrients are fully available; not damaged by processing. What nutrients are found in raw milk? There are perfectly designed proteins, healthy fats, gut-healthy bacteria (many of these bacteria can only be found in milk), enzymes needed to digest these nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.! This is a complete balanced diet in one delicious glass of milk! Humans and all other mammals, like our awesome cows, make milk as the primary food for their babies. This “first food of life” contains all the nutrients needed to work symbiotically to support their new offspring. WOW! As simple as this is, it is also a marvelous thing. Raw cow milk is very similar in composition to human milk, which is fully balanced for optimal growth and development, and life.

The difference between Raw Milk and processed milk is what happens to the milk after it leaves the animal. Most commercial milk is processed using pasteurization and homogenization. Pasteurized milk is heated to high temperatures to destroy bacteria and many of the delicate proteins and enzymes. Homogenization crushes the delicate fat globule under high pressure into tiny pieces, making it no longer an intact fat globule. This is only done to prevent butterfat from rising to the top as it settles in the container, only for customer convenience. All of these processes change the composition of milk, making it hard to digest for many people.
